SOUTHERN REGIONAL
LIBRARY FACILITY
Preservation Microfilming

Our mission is to preserve the intellectual content of library and archival collections through photographic images that capture the original content without distortion or loss of information. In order to accomplish our goal a team of highly trained technicians, using fine quality supplies and equipment and observing the strictest standards for quality and permanence, reproduce and reformat the original onto three generations of film: the master negative (camera negative), the print negative, and the positive copy.

In our commitment to preservation, we hope to protect and preserve fragile or deteriorating originals, such as rare books, manuscripts, newspapers, or photograph collections, while at the same time providing for future use a microfilm copy that can be relied on to replicate the original in it's entirety.
