Established in 1987, the Southern Regional Library Facility (known as the SRLF) provides space for University of California library materials, archives and manuscript collections.

Utilizing high-density shelving, the collections are stored in a climate-controlled environment that is designed to preserve the collections over time.

Hours open to public:

Monday - Friday: 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

    UCLA ITS & UCLA Library DIIT will be upgrading SRLF networking switches which will cause downtime for the SRLF network.

    Date: Sunday, November 4, 2018
    Time: 8AM – 12PM (4Hours)

    The SRLF network will be down for about 4 hours to replace networking equipment.

    ViewScan Microfilm Scanner

    SRLF has a microfilm/microfiche digital scanner for public use. This scanner will scan microfilm, microfiche, film negatives & slides in black & white or in color for color film and slides.

    The ViewScan microfilm scanner will scan and save images to USB drive, Email or print to any campus WEPA printer. The scanner is available for free public use during regular public operating hours, Monday - Friday. Simple tutorial for use is available within the ViewScan software.
