SLF-South has recently installed two new scanners for public use.
A new ViewScan 5 Microfilm/Fiche Scanner replaces the old ViewScan 3 scanner. Updated software with new interface makes scanning microfilm or microfiche easier then before. The new scanner can scan both 35mm standard microfilm and 16mm microfilm with several share options for various export file types.
A new CZUR Overhead Book Scanner scans books from the top and exports to various files types such as PDF, JPG & PNG.
